This is a 120 minute presentation (2.0 Units) workshop designed to increase the participants’ awareness, knowledge base and clinical applications about cognitive skills and how they impact communication and behavior performances. This information allows the participant to gain skills useful in assessing current client performance relative to their area of treatment, identify the area/s of neurological weakness, devise a clinical and home treatment plan with effective goals unique to each client and make predictions for outcomes/prognosis. The participant will garner a bank of treatment goals, forms and methods within their scope of expertise. It is at an intermediate to advanced level of neurological information with hands-on applications. Dr. Rosenthal’s interactive teaching methods allow the professional with intermediate neurological understanding to grasp and utilize the course applications in their respective clinical settings.
